About the Author

Deborah Gilbert-Rogers graduated magna cum laude from Rider University in 2007. She majored in English Writing with Gender Studies and French minors. She plans to continue her education (focusing on an advanced degree in Anthropology), but remains open to other possibilities the universe may have in store for her.

She is the author of two Independent Studies: The first, Re-imagining the Sacred Feminine: a Historical Overview, was presented at the second annual NJ Research Colloquium. The second, Women as Healers: Defining Shamanism in Europe, helped to lay the groundwork for further research on the subject of socio-politics, gender roles, and shamanism.

While attending university she served four years on the executive committee of the school’s only neo-pagan organization – a group dedicated to educating the community about and promoting religious tolerance.

Trained in the Usui System of Natural Healing, Deborah received her Reiki I attunement under the direction of Reiki Master-Teacher, C Lynn Carr and her Reiki II attunement from Susan Martinez, Reiki Master-Teacher and C.Y.I.

Currently she is pursuing a career in Marketing and Public Relations – with a heavy emphasis on copywriting, graphic design, and social media strategy and implementation.

In her spare time, she enjoys, communing with nature, practicing yoga, and perfecting her photography, among other interests. She is the sole creator of Falcon’s Crag. And is eager to start physically manifesting this virtual exploration of the space within.
